Exam Prep Teachers Guide

This booklet breaks down the English exam into the different sections and analyses the different key knowledge and skills being assessed. It considers the exam criteria and descriptors and explores the specifics of this with regards to teaching for an unseen exam. Various teaching approaches and strategies are highlighted and explained with examples of classroom, self-study, small group study and lecture approaches to support learning.

Discussions are included on what to focus upon in the last few weeks for your low performing, middle band and top performing students and how important it is to differentiate the learning in the exam preparations to maximise results.
